If you are in a hurry let me know. My guess is the hood was at least 20 years old. These Filters were stored in a moist environment and have some rust on the of the Filter. I ship the least expensive way I can find.

It should have no effect on the charcoal. There are a total of 10 Filters in packs of two. They were in a house I bought and removed the hood they were for.

This is not always the fastest.

It was a non ducked hood. The Filters are x 3/8 I know nothing else about these Filters.
