I see no manufacturers mark, and do not really know for sure what it was originally made for. I can see 2 very small chips about 1/8 inch in diameter along the base. This item is bubble wrapped and double boxed so it should travel well.

The porcelain is crazed and has only a couple of minor cracks. I am including a couple of plastic tube things that also could work for holding cut Flowers.

This white glazed ceramic porcelain vent or flue is probably off an old gas stove or room heater from the victorian era, likely the late 1800S or early 1900s. It measures 11 inches long, 4 inches high, and 2 inches in depth.

There is a 4 inch by 10 inch black metal plate on the back that can be easily unbolted if desired.
