I am selling for parts or not working for this reason. Cooktop is only 3 years old. A tea pot was left on the back burner and started to melt to the cooktop, when the tea pot was pulled off it took pieces of the glass with it as shown in the second picture.

The remaining top is fine. Ge profile PP989DN2BB black glass cooktop for parts or repair. It may be costly to ship due to the size of the box.

I replaced this top with the exact same top. It will come packed in the box from the replaced top includes downdraft.
